Abstract
In the Clinical Study on I Case of Patient with Optic Neuritis, the results were as follows.
1. Optic neuritis is acute disease that vision isdiminished fastly and become a blindness. It was classified with papillitis and retrobulbar neuritis to pathologic region of optic nerve.
2. It belong to the cathegory of Pock Maeng(øìØî) in Oriental Medicine.
3. The causes of Optic neuritis were the stagnation of phlegm-heat, the stagnation of vital energy and blood stasis, the yin-deficiency of Liver and Kidney & nonfastness of primordial energy.
4. We could get the effective results by providing the patient with Gami-Chungganmyungmoktang(Ê¥Ú«ôèÊÜÙ¥ÙÍ÷·) in the acute period, and Gami-Ssangwhatang(Ê¥Ú«äªûú÷·) in the recovery period.
5. In Acupuncture treatment and other treatment, Electro-acupuncture theraphy were used for neurologic stimulation, Infra-red exposure were used for promoti ng the circulation of vital energy and blood. Physiological salt solution instillation were used for maintainance the physical state of orbit.
